Pints for Purpose

During selected months, the Neighbourhood Group restaurants (The Wooly Pub, Borealis Grille & Bar and Miijidaa Café and Bistro) donate $0.50/pint sold from a specific Ontario brewery to go toward our Neighbourhood Good partners. We call it Pints for Purpose. It helps our community by contributing a portion of funds from each pint, and it also gives us the chance to put the spotlight on our awesome brewery partners. 

In the past four years, we've donated $33,681 from our beer sales. In April, our feature brewery was Mill St. Brewery, where we sold 2,386 pints, allowing us to donate $1,193 for the Grand River Conservation Foundation.

For the month of May, we have partnered with Cowbell Brewing, based in Blyth, ON.  But special to this month is that we're giving our customers the opportunity to choose which of our partners their contribution goes toward. So, when you order a Cowbell pint, we'll ask for your email so you can cast your vote. Each vote counts, and the funds will be distributed proportionately to the votes received.  You will also be entered into a draw for a $50 Gift Certificate from the restaurant, and a VIP Guided tour of the Cowbell Brewery.
